How to enable WhatsMiner API access

Several monitoring platforms need WhatsMiner API access for remote operations. Enable it only after password and firmware checks are complete.

This is an independent operator guide. Verify current downloads, firmware notes and warranty-sensitive actions on official WhatsMiner support pages before changing production miners.
API setup

Safe API enablement sequence

Add devices

Scan and select the WhatsMiner devices that need API access.

Change password

Set a non-default admin password through WhatsMiner Tool when required by the integration.

Open Remote Ctrl

Choose Miner API Switch and enable it for selected miners only.

Update the dashboard

Enter the same credentials in Awesome Miner, Hiveon ASIC Hub, minerstat or another monitoring system.

Security notes

Do not expose API access publicly

Private network

Keep web, API and SSH ports off the public internet. Use VPN for remote work.

Credential scope

Use strong passwords and rotate them when operators or vendors change.

Firmware support

Some API functions depend on firmware generation and model family.
